In 2021, I began an exciting adventure by moving to the United States, leaving behind my family and familiar surroundings. Coming from Hong Kong, where nature isn't as accessible, I have not paid much attention to seasonal changes or plants. But Boise, with its distinct four seasons, has inspired me to appreciate nature, and Fall has become my favorite season, the color of orange maple was engraved in my mind. This badge represents my newfound love for plants and the joy of watching them grow, and I can identify most of the plants in the area right now.
